Other opportunities with an international component
As a student at Waterloo, you can enhance your university experience by participating in an international exchange.
Waterloo offers more than 140 different exchanges with universities in 29 countries around the world, including Australia, Germany, France, Mexico, Norway, and South Korea, to name a few. An exchange is a great way to see the world and experience a new culture and maybe even a new language, all while earning credits toward your Waterloo degree.

The University of Waterloo has a number of exchange agreements with universities around the world.
Read through Waterloo's list of formal exchange partners to find out whether your home institution has an existing exchange agreement with Waterloo, then contact the Exchange Officer at your school to find out how to apply. If your school does not have an exchange agreement with Waterloo, you can still apply to study at Waterloo as a Visiting Student.
