Conditional offers of admission
Most offers of admission have conditions that you must meet or satisfy before you can begin full-time studies at Waterloo. A conditional offer of admission is an acceptance to Waterloo based on your grades and information to date.
Note: Admission to a specific program generally requires a higher average than the standard minimum conditions listed on your offer of admission.
IMPORTANT: You must check your Offer of Admission in your Quest account. That is your official Offer of Admission which specifies any standard and, if applicable, individual admission conditions that you must fulfill before you can attend the University of Waterloo.
- All conditions for offers of admission to the Fall 2024 term (September-December) must be met by the date(s) specified on your Offer of Admission.
- It is your responsibility to meet the final conditions as specified on your Offer of Admission.
- You will receive your final grades before we do. Please ensure we receive your grade(s) by the deadline indicated on your offer.
What happens if I don't meet the conditions on my Offer of Admission?
The University reserves the right to withdraw your Offer of Admission, residence, scholarships, or bursaries if you do not meet the conditions stated on your official Offer of Admission.
I have an offer of admission to iBASE or BASE. Can I submit a new English language proficiency test score for consideration?
